Common questions
I can't sign in
Eat Roostly signs you in either with a password or with a six-digit code emailed to you. If the code hasn't arrived, check your spam folder and confirm you typed the same address you signed up with — codes expire after a short window, so request a fresh one rather than reusing an old email. Still stuck? Email us and we'll sort it out manually.
My meal plan has something I can't eat
Allergies, intolerances, and dislikes live on each household member's profile, and plans generated before you added a restriction won't retroactively change. Add the restriction under your household member, then regenerate the week or swap the individual meal. If a plan ever violates a restriction you had already saved, please report it to us — we treat that as a bug, not a preference miss.
Eat Roostly is a planning tool, not a medical or nutritional advisor. Always check ingredients yourself against your own allergies and needs.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
It depends on where you subscribed, because that's who bills you:
- iPhone (App Store): open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and manage Eat Roostly there.
- Android (Google Play): open the Play Store app, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Web: open Plans in the app and choose Manage or cancel subscription to reach the billing portal.
Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
I paid on one device and don't see it on another
A subscription unlocks your whole household everywhere you sign in with the same account. If it hasn't appeared, open Plans and tap Restore purchases on mobile. If it still doesn't show, email us with the store receipt and we'll fix the entitlement by hand.
How do I delete my account or my data?
In the app: More → Settings → Delete account. That permanently removes your account and your household's data. You can also request deletion in writing — full details, including what we keep and for how long, are on the account deletion page.
